MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Chief Communications Officer for Brand Marketing and Communications is a leadership role that typically oversees the development and implementation of brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and communication plans for the organization. The role requires active involvement in the company’s business strategies in order to develop strategic, insightful, and customer-centric campaigns for the AXA brand and its products. The role is accountable for keeping the AXA brand image and reputation healthy and ensuring customer and distributor engagement through various campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media. The role requires strong leadership, creative thinking, and expertise in both marketing and communications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy and Execution
Product Marketing Communications
· Leads the team in formulating integrated marketing campaign strategies and briefs for AXA Brand and products
· Supervises and directs agencies and in-house creatives in the development of campaign materials
· Provides direction for media strategies and plans across all platforms
· Oversees development of product-related sales & marketing tools
· Manages, executes, implements, and evaluates campaigns
· Ensures that all consumer/customer-facing communication materials adhere to brand standards and strategy.
Brand Marketing Communications /Partnerships,
· Leads the planning, development and implementation of public/stakeholder relations, corporate communications, crisis communications and service communications strategies in traditional and digital media.
· Serves as a spokesperson for the brand, managing media inquiries, press releases, and crisis communications
· Build and maintain a strong relationship with media outlets
· Oversee the Corporate Communications/PR team in traditional and digital media in areas such as:
· Public relations strategy and initiatives
· Media, influencer, and stakeholder relations management
· Corporate communications materials, including press releases, and corporate announcements
· Content development for the company’s internal channels, working closely with different divisions and teams for their communication requirements.
· Develop and activate strategic brand partnerships such as the NBA and UAAP in support of brand strategies and performance metrics
Branding and Communications for Distributor
· Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and enhances it’s market position within the distributors.
· Ensure a consistent brand message across all distribution channels
· Lead the development of a holistic communication strategy that effectively reaches and engages our distributors
· Oversee all external communications and ensures alignment with the brand’s messaging across all channels
Corporate Website and Social Media Assets
· Lead the overall management of the corporate website as a brand asset: performance metrics, content management, and community engagement
· Manage the company’s official social media accounts as a platform to deliver engaging brand narratives and experiences
Multi-media
· Oversee the in-house multi-media team to ensure accurate, creative and timely output is delivered
· Provide support across the organization for multi-media requirements
Governance
· Leads the Crisis Communications team
· Leads the Reputational Risk Committee
· Leads the Communications Governance Committee
· Represents the team in the Customer Council
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
· 10+ years of solid integrated marketing communications experience in the client/advertiser or advertising agency side, preferably working in, or closely with, the insurance or financial services industry
